So many hats...

I wrote this post a while back, and I thought it was already posted. But today I found it was still marked as a draft, so here it is:

Since some of the people who read this ask me sometimes, "How is graduate school?" I thought I would give an example of the various hats I wore today:
- Mouse Transportation Specialist
- Scientific Writer
- Creative Writer
- Pipette Calibrator
- Bored Attentive Seminar Attendee
- Scientific Peer Reviewer
- E-mailer Extraordinaire!

{I know I promised a post about the beautiful flowering trees of Michigan, but I think I missed my chance. I was planning on taking pictures last weekend, but it has been raining since last Friday and the weekend was MUCH more busy than we were expecting. And now many of the trees have lost their flowers. I might try this Sunday, depending on the weather, but we may have to wait until next spring to fully appreciate the beautiful blooming trees. Suffice it to say that almost half of the trees and bushes here break out into bloom, all along their branches, before they have leaves. So when biking along it looks like the trees are covered in white, and pink, and red blossoms!}
